Romantic Songs

There's an excitement that comes with being in love. It's hard to describe how it makes us feel and that's why love songs have always been so popular. As the season of reminding the ones we love around us how we feel comes upon us, it can sometimes be a daunting task to express our true feelings to those we are closest to.

Music is a great way to express ourselves and to share our feelings and can be a very personal experience. I have put together quite an eclectic collection of songs while I was looking how to tell my man how I feel this year. This represents songs and videos from around the world including Finland, Italy, the UK, Africa, Japan, Canada and the USA, starting in 1944 right through to 2011. It includes all genres because singing "I Love You" is not exclusive and apparently has no copyright on the title!

So whatever your taste in music is, take a look or listen that is, and see if you can find the right tune to tell that someone special "I Love You" with the help of some of the greatest artists of everyone's time ...

thank you thank you ... it took me almost 2 days and I fell in love again while doing it! The variety of ways artists have sung "I Love You" over the ages has brought smiles to the faces of the people I love and a bop in their step in my home for 2 solid days :O)

I hope everyone enjoys this list as much as I enjoyed pulling it together!

I like Yutaka's song too, I was surprised by his voice. He was a very popular artist in Japan while he was alive. Apparently many Japanese artists have covered his song "I Love You", as well Debbie Gibson's "I Lve You" is a cover of his song in English, which is nice; Debbie's music video can be found here @
